Membership Renewal Time – Your Investment Makes PLAAI Action Possible

March is membership renewal month for most PLAAI members. To save precious funds, we are enclosing our renewal envelope with our newsletter. New members who recently joined will receive their renewal notice later.

PLAAI accomplishes a great deal of access activity with very little money. Getting your membership donation in quickly is vital to our mission. PLAAI simply does not have the money or ability to send out repeated requests for renewal. So, please send your check right back – or more easily and safely, use the new Website donation service to send in your dues.

PLAAI members are passionate about access: your generosity, loyalty, and good communication are what makes us great. Because of this special relationship, we prefer to use only one annual renewal request and our yearly raffle to fund the organization. But this emphasizes the importance of your renewal as it is our main source of funds. The deep pockets are usually on the other side in the access wars. As you probably know we are an all volunteer organization. Our only expenses are legal fees incurred after we have exhausted all remedies, and our newsletter. Except for an occasional lunch, all directors are responsible for their own expenses. Few nonprofit organizations will give you as much bang for your access dollar.

If you have a question on your renewal date E-Mail us at membership@plaai.org. If you chose to send an additional donation, please express your intent on the envelope.

If you are an Internet user and your are NOT receiving our PLAAI E-Mail updates on access issues, please send us your email address. Send to our Secretary at membership@plaai.org.
